Master Class: Clinical Supervision – A Path to a Safe and Quality Learning Environment

Healthcare education continues to evolve in response to increasing complexity and rapid scientific advancement. Recognizing this challenge, ESSNorteCVP, with support from COHEHRE, hosted a Master Class that addressed a critical need in nursing education: structured clinical supervision. 34 people registered to participate in this opportunity, which was free for COHEHRE members.

 

About the Session

Led by Rita Pinto, this comprehensive Master Class explored clinical supervision as both a pedagogical tool and professional development strategy. The session demonstrated how effective supervision enhances learning outcomes, promotes reflective practice, and creates safer, more effective clinical environments.

The program was designed to benefit a diverse audience, including seasoned educators looking to refine their supervisory approaches, students seeking to understand professional support structures, and healthcare professionals interested in quality improvement initiatives. Participants gained practical insights, evidence-based tools, and learned from shared experiences across European healthcare education settings.
